"Racing Stripes" was all about letting myself be as free to try as many different executions as possible. I took a lot from the style of classic childrens TV like "Sesame Street" and my personal favorite "The Electric Company." Needless to say I had more than a little fun making this.

In order to complete this project I made use of: Maya, V- Ray, Nuke, Realflow, a Canon 60D and my full head of hair.

I made this eyeball by utilizing a great illustration by Zoe Heatwole and applying it to a sphere in Maya, It was then animated to loop using a lattice.
This was made using Z- Brush, maya, and V - Ray. Who doesn't like googly eyes?
This phonograph was simulated and meshed in Realflow, which was then imported into Maya for rendering with V- Ray.
This is the original sequence of my head getting shaved.  This project was all about taking risks and I figured if there was any time to shave my head it might as well be this!
